Came in on a Sunday and 7 pm and did not have to wait more than 5 minutes, though it got crowded around when I left (8:30 pm). In terms of food, it was good. I got the Tokyo ramen with soup with heat level 6 (highest) and numbness level 4. IMO it wasn't that spicy so I should've just maxed out with 6 and 6. The flavors were good and the service was fairly quick. Personally for me, it's not the best ramen I've had but it is good, a solid 4/5. Would want to come back to try the hottest level next time though! Parking - They have a private lot which was empty on Sunday. They give you 1 hour free validation but that isn't too long if you have to wait. It's $10 more if you go over the first hour, so expect to most likely be paying that price. Sunday street parking is free and I was able to get free parking about a block down the street.

The Tokyo style noodles are sort of their "main" thing here, in my opinion. They're supposed to be a Japanese take on Chinese dan dan noodles, and they are REALLY good, especially the version that's dry, without soup. Super nutty, spicy, and rich...very addicting. The noodles are also a nice medium thickness, and nice and bouncy, just like the OG Tsujita's tsukemen noodles. I almost always think "medium" spicy is ideal at most restaurants, and ordered 3 spicy, 3 numbing was perfect here, though I think my ideal spiciness is probably teetering between 3 and 4. My only gripe is that just one serving of noodles ended up costing $19.70 (tax included, no tip), and that's just more than I'm willing to regularly pay for noodles. I'm 5'3" and 120 lbs, and I was able to easily finish one whole serving myself, but I also went home and boiled a half serving of noodles to add to my extra sauce and ate that the same evening. I think I might end up not visiting this place anymore since I feel like my $19 is much better spent at the original Tsujita across the street. That tsukemen broth's flavor is super difficult if not impossible to replicate while I feel like I could make a sauce that captures 90% of Killer Noodle's Tokyo style flavor. Also just FYI free street parking on Beloit (right up against the 405) is always easy to find, you just might need to walk 5-10 minutes depending on the time of day.

We were in Sawtelle in the early afternoon so we decided to take advantage of Killer Noodle not having lines and had a late lunch here. Ramen is 5 stars! Delicious mazemen! Service on the other hand? It was quite bad I was starting to get annoyed. They practically failed at everything. Didn't bring water to the table until asked. Took too long to take our order even though they weren't busy. Didn't bring enough utensils. Had to chase them down to ask for more water and for the check.. Be warned.

My favorite place ever! If you like sichuan numbness sensation and love spicy food, this is the place to go. They have different levels. I've been here 5 times and I first started with highest numbness and spiciness (both 6) in Tokyo flavor? It was so good but I think my organs were crying for help Next time I went, I lowered it down to 5 spiciness and 3 numbness which was so good but again, my organs were still pleading for help lol. So my go to is 4 spiciness and 3 numbness which was perfect amount of spiciness and numbness for me. I tried to find other places but Killer Noodles is the only place that has the perfect balance of spiciness, numbness, creamy sesame/toasted taste that I keep craving to go back to. The portion is more than enough for one person. The noodles are always al dente and never overcooked. I always have leftover so typically I would togo the leftover soup and I enjoy round 2 of this flavor with boiling my own ramen noodles and bean sprouts at home.

Killer Noodle makes the spice fiend in me happy. My go-to order is the downtown-style level 4 spicy (occasionally will go up to a 5 if I'm feeling adventurous but the spice level here is no joke) and level 3 mala with soup (I like my noodles a little vinegar-y for balance). I did level 6 spicy once and it was like a fire in my throat (not that I'm complaining). The late and great Jonathan Gold also tried the level 6 spicy noodles. My hubby usually goes the opposite route and gets the Tokyo-style with no soup, and it is just as good. We both agree on the chicken karaage, which is even better if you can get in during happy hour. The decor, vibes, and service are on point with the spicy theme.

I had lunch here today with my co-workers. I've been here a couple of times before. For a ramen restaurant, the decor is nice and very open. The service was good. We shared some appetizers and had our own bowl of noodles. I had: Chicken Karaage (fried chicken) - 4/5: Nicely seasoned and lightly fried. Pork Pan-fried dumplings - 5/5: Very flavorful, juicy and perfectly pan fried. Original Noodles (w/ soup) - 5/5: First time trying this here. I really liked it. Comparable to other ramen restaurant's "mabo ramen" it was very flavorful. Noodles were perfectly cooked. Overall, a very good lunch.

Really good noodles! I'm not a fan of pork so I got chicken on the side. It also came with rice on the side. I choose the level 2/2 for numbness and spice and it was perfect for someone that can't handle spice. The service was quick and there was no wait but as we walked out, we noticed that there was a long line starting to form. They also have parking on Monday and Tuesdays!

Good experience here at Killer Noodle. It was a packed Saturday night, so we ended up waiting about 35 min outside. It was raining but the restaurant had heaters and cover from the rain, so the wait went by quickly with good conversation. Restaurant doesn't have many tables, but is aesthetic and accompanied by friendly staff. The ramen was good. It has a very thick and unique broth which I have not had at any other ramen restaurant. It was a good, I just personally wouldn't want my broth with peanut sauce every time I go to eat ramen. It is a very unique and enjoyable broth, but would be more for an occasion where I am specifically craving this flavor. I added corn, egg, and chasu which was a great compliment. This is a heavy ramen so you will be feeling full after. Definitely worth a try for a unique, spicy, flavor packed ramen!

Been here twice, found it from the Try Guys video and my girlfriend loves spicy food and ramen. Went on a Wednesday around 6:30pm, table of 8. Got seated right away. Service: everyone was very kind and attentive. Parking: there's valley right next to the restaurant, $10. Or street parking. It's sawtelle so it's always crazy busy. Seating: there's outdoor and there's indoor. The floor is large and spacious. The table that we got sat at was huge, like I have to yell at the people across from us. We've sat here before and if it's just a party of 2 then you get sat there with other people next to you. Birthday: I tried calling to see if I'm allowed to bring a cake but the call goes from ringing to straight silence, I've called like 8 times and no answer. They do allow the cake but they don't have anything special, I brought my own cake with candles and lighter, they stored it in the fridge and brought it out when it was time. Food: - downtown ramen with no soup. Level 5 on spice and tangy. My gf loved it, not spicy for her but it was very spicy for me. 4/5 - pork bun and spicy pork bun: very yummy, love it, the one reason I'd come back. 5/5. - cucumber: not good plain too vinegary. 1/5 - Tokyo cocktail: very good and strong, sweet. - karaage chicken: very good crunchy and moist. 5/5 Price: good pricing, about $190 for 8people. Overall would return because my gf loves it.
